Property Management Operations Coordinator (Canada Summer Jobs)
- Location: Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador
- Term: 8 Weeks
- Hours: 35 Hours per Week
- Wage: $18/hr
Position Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Property Management Operations Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the Port of Corner Brook’s property portfolio.
What You’ll Do
- Support the coordination of maintenance and repair activities across Port-owned properties
- Assist with tenant communications and service requests
- Maintain records, documentation, and administrative processes
- Help monitor compliance with safety and operational policies
- Work with Port staff, tenants, and contractors to ensure high service standards
- Perform other duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is an organized, motivated individual who enjoys coordinating tasks, communicating with others, and learning how facilities and property operations work in a real-world environment. Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in property management or facilities operations is considered an asset but is not required
Eligibility Requirements
The Government of Canada funded this job through the Canada Summer Jobs program. The successful applicant must:
- Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
- Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
