The Corner Brook Port Corporation (CBPC) is subject to the Canadian Transportation Agency’s Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities (ATPDR), Part 1, Requirements Applicable to Transportation Service Providers, and Part 4, Requirements Appliable to Terminal Operators.
The CBPC Accessibility Action Plan is divided into seven pillars:
- Employment
- The Built Environment
- Information and Communication Technologies
- Communication, Other Than Information and Communication Technologies
- The Design and Delivery of Programs and Services
- The Procurement of Goods, Services, and Facilities
- Transportation
Each section will highlight steps the CBPC has committed to take to improve accessibility by preventing and eliminating barriers in the workplace. Our actions have been further divided into short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives.
