Welcome to the Port of Corner Brook’s 20th Anniversary Celebration!

Over the years, the Port of Corner Brook has been active in numerous projects and has served as a port of call for various types of vessels, including coast guard ships, cruise ships, passenger ferries, and cargo ships. Previously owned and operated by Transport Canada, the port was officially divested on November 19, 2004, with strong public support. It became locally owned and operated by the Corner Brook Port Corporation to better meet the needs and interests of the port and the local community.

This year, we proudly celebrate 20 years of being an independent marine port. Since its inception, the Corner Brook Port Corporation has been dedicated to fostering economic value and has achieved remarkable growth and expansion each year. Highlights of our journey include significant investments in infrastructure to boost operational efficiency, a steady increase in cruise ship calls, and the establishment of a regular international shipping service to the port.

Join us in commemorating these incredible 20 years of maritime excellence and independence as we celebrate our history and look forward to an even brighter future.
